This is a scene out of the 4th part in the Lunarian Saga. About Skyiler III and his sister. Skyiler falls under a scientist's mind control and is sent out to kill the martian emperor Silverfire Van Wham, so this is what happened. Skyiler knew what was going on he tried to stop himself but he couldn't.

But just before his staff could go any deeper the device malfunctioned and broke, thus made Skyiler regain control over his own mind and ran out of the palace
