A while back I was taking pictures, and then using them as a basis to paint with my WACOM tablet in Photoshop. I had this really neat waterfall picture that I finished, but it really seemed bland just as a background, because that's what it really was.

Then yesterday I got inspired to draw this fellow, and it only hit me later that he'd fit most appropriately into the background piece. So thus this picture. The dragon took me 2 days, the background was...a while too, but that was a few weeks ago, so I forget exactly how long.
