I'm sure this woulda been easier with a tablet. :\ This took about a week, aprox. 3-7 hours a day, with the tools Airbrush, Smudge, Dodge and pencil in Photoshop. Inspiration: The marvelous works of Pu-sama, Adele Sessler, and Khaosdog, and of course, my buddy Toren. This was a new coloring technique that I think worked quite well. Truth be told, this is the longest I've spent on a digital piece - I wanted to convey Armageddon's sorrow, and agony, his hatred for his immortality, and unwillingess to die, lest something he'd missed still be out there. His wings scared me... I didnt know how to color them. Once I tackled them, they werent so hard. The sky scared me. Once I tackled it, it wasnt so hard. The rain wasnt quite as hard as I thought it'd be. Over 100 layers were used on this. 50 layers for the rain, about 7 or so for his coat, several for his skin, well over 10 for his hair, manymany for his jewelry, 9 for the sky, 3 for his eye, and well over 10 for his wings. I made it longer than the orignal sketch, to show more stormy sky. I was so happy to find the 'canvas resize'. ^^ I plan to do more of my Armageddon.

Note: Armageddon is not an elf. Not a winged elf. He is an Aeoarie, an immortal beast of my design. For the larger version, go to the following the link(http://www.deviantart.com/view/7055897/).

My end of the trade with the wonderful Nataku, and her character Marou in his were-jackal form, also called Anubis. I want to work on my watercolor paintings a bit more, but I dont like this came out. She gave me sketchy sketches of Marou/Anubis, and I couldnt figure out his headdress, so I decided to make a silhouette. How many faces in the blood can you see?

A gift for somebody I know. Why? Because she doesnt know how to mind her own business. She sticks her beak into everyone elses, then tries to speak as if she is intelligent, and then, tries to suck up to an artist who she obviously looks up to, and riles another artist.

Keep your beak out of other people's business, and they might like you.

Microns and watercolor.

This isnt really furrywork, as I'm not a furry artist, but it was the only category for animals.

A portrait of my character, Sark, a resident of a world called Dawnworld, in a story of mine, called Comes the Dawn. She's a timberwolf, but obviously, colored like a red wolf. In the beginning, it was born to Men and Wolves, but when Man's greed grew, Dawnworld was put in peril, and so the Wolf(the wolf have a motto of sorts: One soul, one heart, one life, one Wolf.) waged war. When the world of Men fell, Dawnworld was handed over to the Wolf, and peace reigned until greed tainted the hearts of a few wolves, and so, the second Wolf was born, changing Dawnworld forever.

I'll prolly be illustrating Sark's siblings, Matrose, and Tink soon.

I really like how this came out - especially her feathers. I also like the background; I'd originally planned to include buffalo, wolves, etc, in Native American art, but decided against it. Decided the earthiness was enough. But I think the colors I chose for her name threw it off a bit. But red and blue are her colors. o.O

Pencils and watercolor. Again, I used a watercolor wash, then used pencil, then went over it with a thin layer of watercolor, to smooth out the pencils. I used tons of terra cotta, tuscan red, and a light brown for her fur, including some black, obviously. I messed up on her red feather. I like her eye, too.

Scan cut off part of her red feather.
