"Today was the beginning of a new place
Themed blue and oxygenated bubbles
With a giant timer fizzling down
To an ardent swapping of waves.

I thought as these fungal skies pass
About feelings of warmth and the joyous
Rendering of shine and shrewdness
And mostly the way my horrorscope
Came true that week.

Slowly, the leaves erode my skull
Loosening old tendons into new ways
And, with tortion, supplying me
With the very best of needles.

Here I sit dreaming and nodding
In fake iambic pentameter;
Accompanied by unicorns,
Elves and glowy fae twinkling
Atop the mystical abd mysterious
Incantation, depression, witchery, beauty,
Wings, dresses, mussings, blooming clichés."

[poem by moi]
I started this aeons ago. In my 15 mins between an hour of study for the last month, I doodled at it and it just so happened that I finished it this weekend while reciting Macbeth to myself. It's goddamn huge; 12 X 24. I have alot to say about it - even though the poem above conveys it all pretty well. Let's just say...it's a bitter, cruel experiment; the results for which, will hopefully confirm that many spectators are superficial. Anyway... I hope you like it.

My ocean here is fat
Rotund, devouring courage and new lands
Unknown to some.

Of course it laps sweetly on the
Shores - nosing the squirming land
And drooling salty; come across
Flattered plains.

Feel your way out further -
A sonorous hum of its' deeper.
Light hits snells window and
Requests a look-in. The most
Exclusive depraved celebrations are
Arms length from you...

Listen - the ships ride past us,
The gales pushing hard to reach
Them out out of danger.
Those gusts know - they know
Because they are clipped to the
Frothing crests and darkened troughs
Bobbing incessantly above the
Filthy, murkerous depths.

The ship is glade of those
Inconspicuous clouds - sweeping the
Horizon with grey rain.
Salvation awaits,
Row
Row.

Grab my eyepiece and hard
Look below.
Stray photons irredesce
This forgotten sanguinous place.
Watch the gill creatures suck
And spew and toy with the
Galleon battlements.

Hell is not underground,
It is undersea.

Remember that ship piece I did a whle back, and that
I didn't finish? Here's attempt #2. Think it looks alright. I used white
poster for the frothing waves, andd they didn't turn out quite as good as
they actually look. But hey :]

"Whispered the charm
What would happen to all the grains
And me after this quite trickling
Is finished -

And immediate darkance beginning
In the sea, the waves lapping
Their horrific way up the land;
Stop.
All this and more? But -
not more as all dies.
Or, will we turn it and
Begin again?

This thing has charmed me."

The charm quark is a fundamental sub-atomic particle. I had this guy drawn months ago and I scratched away at it at an enormously slow rate. Giving out about the egg-timer is strictly forbidden as...I love it so :D *huggles timer* I loooove you. I looooooove you :]

What a title eh?! I cause quantum troublesomes with this one...

Half-life is a calculation of how fast a mass of atoms will decay - the rule being that half the atoms in any substance will decay over a certain period of time. When an atom decays, it can change into a whole new element. This is my ultimate symbol of birth-rebirth. It is absent of biological factors, and yet it is absolutely inevitable. I have caught this normally spontaneous process only a few seconds before the nucleus sheds its' skin.

Also check out the detail shots because it is pretty huge: http://www.iownthesun.com/art/halflife_det.html

This is my own little entry for the epilogue.net Seasons Of Renewal competition :]

In zero lies neutrality; the meeting of positive and negative...

I find that dragons, rather than being decidedly nice or truely evil, are indifferent. Just neutral :]

Another personal commission.
