AAAAHHHH! PORK CHOP SANDWICHES!
I mean... I can't believe that I haven't commented in so long. You have so much pretty work I have to catch up on! And you're all married now! ::sob:: My Jinx is all grown up and become a woman. CONGRATULATIONS!
Hmm, I wonder if I could ship kittens as a wedding present...

KITTENS! I would love to have an adorable new kitten. But really don't have the money now.
Anyway... you have been very busy lately, haven't you? I'm glad for that and don't feel obligated to comment on all my pictures. But I'd sure like to see new art from you some day!

You have a wonderful gallery of art. Your work is truly art. Your techniques and style are hard to come by in talent... and your perfection in anatomy is simply awesome. Keep up the GREAT work! *hugz*

Hello. ^-^ I just thought that, since I see you're a regular visitor to my gallery it was about high time I came to visit yours. It's very beautiful. The way that your drawings are all colored using the computer makes them look very refined and professional. Which application do you use? I, myself, do not have any kind of computer coloring tool installed and my scanner doesn't like to scan colored drawings so all of my artwork has to be in ink. However, is there any application you'd recommend if I were to go out and buy something?

Despite seeing your name in the forums long before I began posting, this is the first time I've actually looked at your gallery. Good, very good. I especially like the use of lighting in some, like "The Empire's Strength." And Link's expression in "Never" is nothing short of perfect; just looking at him, you can almost feel his desperate courage. I can't see any major weak points at all, except for the occasional lack of a background (Ha! Like I'm one to talk). If anything, some of the faces don't seem expressive enough somehow. . . it isn't anything I can put my finger on, and may be my tired mind and imagination. Or it may just be me trying to find something wrong . Your anime style is very good and well-refined, I guess maybe it I just think it looks odd when applied to furry characters with longer snouts. But that could just be differences in style and preference. Sorry for the incoherence of my tired critique, it's been a long day. Man, wish I had Photoshop. . .

Thanks for a very helpful and descriptive comment. Backgrounds are something I've been trying to work on, and I'm starting to realize that I do have difficulty with expressions. of course, it may partly have to do with the fact that I don't vary much in the way of expressions. *grin* As for furries, you could be right or it could be personal preference or both. I've long had a hard time with furry heads/faces and, as you might have noticed, I don't draw them much anymore, anyway. Any suggestions you might have on improving them, though, would be great.
Thanks again. I really appreciate you taking the time to look through my art and comment so specifically.

Your artwork is really cool, and as a person who doesn't like to use color I applaud your coloring skills. Also, alot of your anime-influenced stuff is rad.

Hi, very nice work I expecially love your christmas cards. the setting really adds to the festive feeling and the figures are really good.

Heya! I'm a fan of your online comic, "Bowspirit's Aim", so when I saw your tell-tale style on the Recent Art page, I thought "GODS, I need to check this out!" As usual, I love your drawings. (especially the "ohthepain" one you claim is so bad.. he looks good!) After reading the other comments, however, I realized there are some weensy problems - the usual with backgrounds (curse them. darn them to heck.) and anatomy. If you ever want any help drawing females, leave a comment on my gallery or PM sometime - can I ask you for help on males? I sympathize with your problems drawing girls, as your style is rather shônen (which is good at drawing guys, but not as good for girls - but it depends on the artist), while mine is completely shôjo (which produces very feminine guys - yay bishônen! - but no manly-men). Mebbe sometime we could trade anatomy secrets. Anyway! Wonderful gallery! *(Museum!)*

Thanks for your comments, but you seem to have me mistaken with Ms. Kilpatrick. I don't do an online comic... yet. ^_^
Yes, I am well aware of my shortcomings in the background department, but I am working on that. As for anatomy, any specific examples you could provide would be appreciated. I'm working on females too (though not vigorously, as I rarely draw them), but I'd love to swap advice!

Dingit! (is a loser and is now very embarrassed) Sorry about that. O.O Somehow I mixed you up with someone else. Oh, well! You're still cool. You SHOULD do an online comic.
I don't do backgrounds either.. They always turn out bad. I usually just do something abstract.
Lesse.. advice on females? The most basic things I can think of right now are:
Usually, they have shorter faces, with softer curves and no real angles except for the chin.
Eyes are bigger, shinier, rounder, and have larger lashes.
Hair is shinier and (at least for me, not everyone else) has less lines. Lines only give shape to the hair.
Nose is smaller and less defined.
...That's all I can think of right now. Hope it helps! Any general tips for drawing guys?

Nah, don't feel bad about it. After I took a look at that comic, I can see the similarities. I've actually had intentions to do a comic now and then, but they never seemed to get off the ground.
As for tips for drawing guys... well, curves in general are sharper and more defined than girls, the torso is flatter and hips are more squarish... smaller eyes and smaller eyelashes, of course... shoulders are more broad, chest of course is flat... all I can think of off-hand, other than draw some from life if possible. Hope that helps.

hey, this is a pertty good gallery. most of these pics are done very well. anyone can obviously see that your talented with drawing anime and stuff. Theres only two things that bother me about most of the pics, the anatomy and background. you have a more than basic understanding of anatomy, but a lot of the facial structures are a little off. Even though its anime, some of there proportions are a little off too. Your backgrounds aren't bad, but you can obviously tell your more into that actual figure, or more skilled with it than with most backgrounds. it seems to me like you just throw them in their so that most of the characters have a setting, but it doesn't seem like your constructing it and making it work with your figure. It may seem like this stuff is bad, but its all minor. All i recommend is drawing from life, it'll help out a lot.

Thanks for your comments, and especially for your advice. I know I need work on backgrounds, and I have been, but I've never been as strong with them as foregrounds. Still, I'm trying. As for facial structure and anatomy, can you give me any examples specifically? I'm just going off the style I draw in (which is taken from an anime), which I feel looks fine, but additional comments would be appreciated, of course.
Thanks again.
