Commission: Alysae by @tania (Tania Walker)

Alysae is a Dark Elf I recently did for a commission on Furbid. A rare touch of anime style here - I'm not really much of an anime person. Let's see... the braid was a learning experience, I wish I could go back and re-shade the hair based on some new tricks I've picked up since this was done, and the coloring is unusual - not shaded, but "hard" shadows. I did that to try and get a bit more of an anime feel to it. I like her pose, her anatomy is OK, and I'm having fun using small touches of perspective in my pics lately. This was a no-background commission, but I usually add some sort of substitute in Photoshop anyhow. With this one I was trying to emulate that streaky blue background effect you often see in anime when a character moves at speed. The magic fireballs were also all done in Photoshop too.
