teh last unicorn
teh last unicorn by @anubis_tweekthm (JLP (none))

yes, i was totally obsessed with this movie when i was younger. I'd watch it every day, and i had my daddy glew horns onto all my horsey toys so that they could be unicorns too. but anyway, i was in an old book store and i found this arcaihic paper back called the Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle. And i read it, and it was the same! Only his writting is absolutly wondeful! Anyway, i fell in love all over again and drew this. i'm gonna right the passage down that inpired it. "What words the magician spoke he never knew surly. They left him like eagles and he let them go; he watched the magic spin its web, entangle and engulf the pale shivering form of the unicorn. She gave a keen like nothing ever heard by mortal ears, and was swept up in the power like a frail leaf ina tumultuous gale. The magician was knocked flat, the light of it all burning inot his eyes as though he'd been swallowed by the sun. When he could finally regained control of himself, the scene had much changed. The red bull pawed at the earth, confusion and rage eminating from his smoldering flesh. His roar shook the earth again as he looked about in vain for the unicorn. But there was no unicorn. Only a waif of a creature, milky skin and tumbling white hair. A girl like a jagged sliver of bone cast down upon the earth."

Wow, that's REALLY cool @_@ I love how the unicorn and the human body are integrated together. They're both like 'noooooooooo!' I read that book last summer.. I loved it.. it's such a good book :D And I REALLY like this illustration.
