Young Zan Downglance
Young Zan Downglance by @Youlanda (Youlanda Waharu)

Meh... This image is actually a frame of a manga-ish attempt I'm doing. Rather than draw the images on a page and scan the page, I'm drawing each frame individually (and randomly on either side of my manga paper) and putting them together via computer.

For you lighting fans out there, you'll note that it has a slight degree of heavy shadowing, the key light on the subject is somewhat harsh (think ERS) rather than a wash, though there is also a fill light (Fresnel) wash which isn't as bright. Both the key and fill lighting has a "warm" tint to it like one might imagine being cast by a fireplace or a candle.

The background is black, I don't quite know why yet (it may be because I'm lazy or it may be that I somehow think that black adds to the creep level of the image)...
