The Green Mother
The Green Mother by @rhaniha (Rosy Sophia)

I did this for a teacher of mine, because she wanted to buy one of my paintings/drawings. I drew a rough pencil drawing on the cavas first and then went over it with ink. I like what I did with the paint, but the character lacks depth. I still think it's pretty. And I got eight bucks for it...

Dark outlines always flatten a pic. If you use them you really need to bump up the contrast in lighting and shadow. I suggest looking at Ursula Vernon's stuff: http://yerf.com/vernursu/ She does some really snazzy realism with outlines
