Ikarus
Ikarus by @alice (alice duke)

Does greek mythology count as fan art? I guess its public domain. Anyway. This is Ikarus, the ill-fated (and slightly foolish) flier, reaching out even as the wax of his wings melts. But he touched the sun, which was really what he wanted, so that's what counts. Inspired by a trip to Crete (although I did this about a week or so before I left)
