I luvs the Ranlu. I think he's possibly my favorite character of all time. Of MY characters anyway 9.9; Or at least one of my favorites. He's just so COLORFUL! Anyway this is a page in my sketchbook in which I drew him as an adult (cuz he's still a baby right now) and played around with a compass and ruler too much. Then I added color to it. Because Ranlu IS colors. This gives some good detail of how the color highlights kind of appeared on him as he grew older... see when he was a tiny wormling he was just a dark violet all over with pale multicolored wings.. now he's ultra-rainbow and has colored highlights over the purple. He ish pretty.

i never have wondered what creatures could thrive in the puddles of gasoline that float under a leaky parked car...but if i ever do- i'll remember this one !scintillating!
