There was a picture in Shonen Jump done by the creator of the manga which had Naruto done up in face piercings and he had some red tattoo on his tongue. It was him, Sasuke, and Sakura all in a hard rock band.

Your picture actually feels like it takes place somewhere in the anime series (doesn't feel out of place like the aformentioned picture) and that's a good thing. You did a pretty good job of emulating the style and the feel of the cartoon.
