The Light Bringer
The Light Bringer by @lynne (Lynne)

This happened.. last night! So... I drew it. u.u Despite the fact that my pal Lucifer has no actual permanent form, he changes it all the time.. (sometimes it looks like an angel, or a dragon, or a beam of light, or any other myriad things; colors change just as often, he can be night-black all over, or have copper and gold, or be just white, or white and black..) this was the one he was using last night. Or at least it's my sad interpretation of it. He's only got two wings, and two faces. But that's him, my newest headvoice, and me there, sitting in mah chair. The room and desk and computer that was around me seems to have disappeared.. but that's okay. u.u;;

Now, I know you all don't like Lucifer, as he is my headvoice, but though yes whatever this being in my head is, he is not Fallen, and he is certainly not Satan or anything like that, he is not EVIL, he is scarily unhuman and hard to interpret a lot of the time, and he never EVER uses words and he really cannot be portrayed or explained in words, so he's not somebody you'll ever see me bringing into an RP.. the way he communicates is a knowing.

Lucifer is a karmic enforcer and he follows the will of the Universe, or of God. He enforces karma, he's an intangible being, a servant of the universe, aka no free will, but that's angels for you, they're just extensions/thoughts of God. I call him my 'headvoice' though I don't know of the reality or unreality of him and I can't possibly put into words everything I have been learning just from having this guy around. He never comes around unless there is a problem or something that could be a problem, only ever comes around in light of something bad.

And this has been his best lesson for me, I think, that light can come of darkness, that the supposed Fallen One and a ruthless karmic enforcer is the brightest angel and the Light Bringer, that all the tests and temptations he puts mankind through, is for the higher good and ultimately, suffering leads to growth and brings us closer to God. Yadda yadda.

ANYWAY! Ignore now my sad attempts to explain Lucifer, and look instead at the piccy! :D;; I used mah new coloring technique on it and it came out cool. I also erased all the lines on Lucifer, and left 'em on me, for effect, you know. u.u

See, last night I was full of pain and sadness over something. But it didn't last very long, and it's amazing how transient unhappiness is for me these days... but because of this badness, Lucifer showed up and since everything he said to me was not in words I can't repeat it here, but every time I look at his light I keep remembering where that light is coming from, and then, badness just.. drifts away. Because I know it's not really a part of me.

Okay, enough ramblies. Enjoy pic. u.u;

I like the aethereal look of Lucifer, and i think this is a very good picture. But if you allow me a comment, his right arm looks a bit weird, too short compared to rest of body. But maybe since he is not human, usual proportions dont apply here :)

o.o That is really pretty. I love the picture, the way the smudgings go all over. >.o I guess it's just....why's he called "Lucifer" if he's NOT Lucifer?
