Beautiful work...has a very classical feel to it.

I think the most striking aspect of this is the colors you've chosen. They're very warm, but dark, almost forbodeing. The central composition is nice as well...usually that would make the image flat and dull, but not here. I think it heightens the tention.

The detailing is incredible. What media did you use? Looks like it could be watercolor, or photoshop of graphite...difficult to say though.

Her eyes are so interesting to me...wary, but dignified and wise. Fantastic character design, overall, and I'm with Feral on the colors.
