Queen Elizabethan Gown
Queen Elizabethan Gown by @idunna74 (Jennifer Robison)

Elizabethan Gown, circa 1575.

This is an up close picture taken by a wonderfuol photographer, whose name escapes me at this moment. THANK YOU.

Dress is made of 100% cotton tapestry fabric and hand embroidered with glass seed pearls. Sleeves are cotton tudor rose off white with purple velvet puff sleeves at top. Ruby glass, gold, pearl, and silver seeds. Hat is made of cotton purple fabric and embellished with embroidered silk and feathers. French Bodice with antique silver applique. Overskirt is open with purple velvet and pearl/gold details. Overskirt is hand beaded with glass seed pearls to blend with griffin/deer/swan/ flora/fauna tapestry. Entire dress was made at $500 dollars, due to budgeting.

Dress was worn for re-enactment purposes to portray the historical figure of Queen Elizabeth I for the VA Renaissance Faire, 2003.
