I was inspired by this wonderful song, performed by fabulous Peter Cincotti (he's really great...) I imagined Charlie (my own character) singing this song and playing it ona grand piano, high in New York, maybe on the top of one of these bulidings. So here it is - I drew some captures of him singing this song, but this one turned best...

Very nice! I like the way the lighting and shading effects are varied so accurately. After all, the night sky is NEVER just one color.... it may have lighter patches with clouds with dark, starlit pockets. The character seems to really be enjoying singing and playing the piano. I've known the song "Rainbow Connection" since I was a baby, having been a fan of the Muppets since infancy. Excellent and marvelous piece of work. I applaud you!
