Blue Faery
Blue Faery by @aeryaval (Aeryn Avalon)

A lovely blue faery I came up with in English class one day. The bubbles are just for fun, cuz I needed to spice up the plain white background. Watercolor, of course.

Erin, I love your watercolors. I mean, I love your watercolors. You will totally make a killing selling prints at Tekkoshocon (Hmm, I haven't checked that today...) I love this faery's expression. I don't really know how to describe it, but I love it. And her tattoos kick major butt! The coloring you've used is fantastic--I love the yellow contrast on the bubbles.

The only thing you really need on this image is something for her to sit on. She looks odd in that pose, just floating around like that. (Hmm, the wings remind me of the Sammy Jaaane image we did... you should upload that one, too!) If you give her a pedestal or something, she'd look more comfortable.

Great work, honey. Keep painting your faeries. I love them!

You're definitely right about her needing something to sit on. I don't know if a pedestal would work, but she definitely needs something. Now, what...?

You know, it is a question always running through my mind, "how do ppl always think up of ways to do things to the backgrounds of pictures, even if it's only little simple things like bubbles????" i can't think up something for a background to save my life!?? well anyway, on to your' picture, lol. all the proportions are really good, as are the wings, and the clothes. the shading is very nice as well. the tattoos look great, as does the hair. the only thing i'd say needs work is the eyes, and the nose (which seems a little too wide.) really good job as usual. XD

Sincerely, Ikaika
