Zyleeth and Drakun
Zyleeth and Drakun by @lynne (Lynne)

My half of an art trade with Zyleeth. It's her and her mate, Drakun... aren't they cute? ^-^ Drakun's birthday is on March 4th (it's another one, KidK!!)

Done in colored pencil on grey paper.

This is beautiful! I always love the contrast of colored pencil on non-white paper. I also love the way you draw dragons. They look so graceful. Great job all around. ^_^

This is beautiful piece with great colouring work.

However, the background looks like it was put in as an after-thought and therefore has lost perspective in relation to the dragons (the background trees don't look proportionate and lack of detail doesn't do the dragons justice).

You found me out! XD I always have the subject all planned out and drawn and then I try to think, now what could go in as a background so they aren't floating in space? Backgrounds are not my strong point.
