Aris, as humans are most likely to call him, is a True Dragon. He is serves on ruling council of Dragheria... a mysterious realm of Dragonkin believed to lay beyond the Veil at the edge of the seas. The denizens of Dragheria rarely interact with others, but when they do, the events that follow will mark the Age for all time...

The compulsion to work on a dragon finally became to great to ignore. Rather than start on a full dragon, however, I wanted to do a portrait first... and he is what I came up with. After I finished the line drawing, I decided to tool around with some digital coloring methods in Photoshop. I am pleased with the way it turned out.
