Ganymede
Ganymede by @TGP (JT Hughes)

I needed a 'me' picture today. So, I drew this. 'Bout six hours of work here but gosh is he pretty.

This is my baby Ganymede, Muse of Poetry. There used to be three poetry muses, each with specific jobs, but then the job was downsized to one. Ganymede likes the whole gothy thing (the black around his eyes is make up) and he has the emo bitch attitude to go with it. He isn't very nice to most of the other immortals and could really care less what people think of him. Ganymede is also completely and utterly in love with his job. Words totally turn him on. No, seriously, I meant it that way.

Why does he have headwings? Funny story there. See, the Goddess of Life, an elf named Celest, really likes cute things. She saw Ganymede being all bitchy and un-cute and tried to cheer him up with a set of headwings! Well, problem is, she ended up having to give them to ALL the muses (It had to do with some rule, but she still thought it was adorable on all of them) and they blamed Gany for it. He really doesn't like his fellow muses...

Before anyone gets on my case about his name or anything... 1. This Ganymede is NOT the one who was a male lover to Zeus. He WAS named for him. 2. I DO know that the greek muses of poetry were Calliope, Erato, and Polyhymnia. They have since retired within my odd little universe. 3. Headwings? STFU, it's cute!
