The Dragon Who Wishes to Devour the Sun by @lynne (Lynne)

This is another image inspired by Elam and is of a character who appeared in my November 2008 novel... The Dragon in this image seems to have some designs on becoming the Creator of the Universe but must devour in order to achieve this power. In the novel the character Dragon is named Iakam Byrn and, while not quite so lusty perhaps, has unerring confidence in the right to the Knowledge of Good and Evil, which he has claimed. Yet in the end I think he leaves the planet, and discovers in himself a sort of respect for the prey which desires not to be eaten and to have its own life.
