Yuna
Yuna by @ginasadiren (Jessica Hawks)

Just a quick sketch colored at work during lunch break one day...I actually like working better with out outlining pictures with black ink.

Oh, it's Yuna! ^^ looks pretty god for a quick sketch, I like the fact that you colored it.

Again the center of balance is off though, see how it's slanting to the right? It'd be best to have her stand straight up, and probably angle her arm to the left just a wee bit. That or, you could have it tilt, but stick out her leg to accommodate for it. :>

Yeah I see what you mean. I'll have to try it again when I get the mood to draw Yuna again. I found a book of mine buried in my boxes that shows you how to draw the human figure. I had honestly completely forgot all about it. Back when I had it I couldn't push myself to read it because I wanted to try it on my own to see if I could get it right. It also threw me off a bit back then because it showed all these different diagrams on how to do it and I couldn't find one that worked for me.

Yeah, it's good to look up techniques, but I can understand where you're coming from, it's nice to develop your own style, and learn by yourself. I guess it's something where you just have to take a leaf from both books. It's nice to know the basics, from books, then you can put yourself into it and break a few of the 'rules' once you got them down. :3
