Detail from an SCA scroll I crafted at the end of 2012. The illuminated L is my second favorite part of the scroll. I had to teach myself a Gothic hand in less than a week to pull this one off. My hand needs work, but the results were acceptable.

The illuminations were based off the Queen Mary Psalter.
