A demon to some but fearsome to all, Ash is the anthropomorphic form of Jayli, the unfinished product of the Inner Circle magi and created through years of intense manipulation and extensive tampering of Jocarra’s astral shadow and Ethereal presence. Possessing the powerful and lithe form of a feline, the build of a human, and a magical proficiency and intellectual capacity beyond most, Ash is said to have been summoned by the corrupt Fergus to aid in his campaign of tyranny.

At times savage, brooding, and bordering on madness, Ash haunts Jocarra as a black secret of the past. All sense of humanity lost amongst the twisted tales of superstition, Ash is the reason for Jayli's secretive ways and unwillingness to bond with others - Jocarra fears to be seen only as the monster she was created to be.
