Created by the warrior mage Jayli to aid the Knights of Amiiroh in the war against the Empire, Raydl bests her other two forms in body, mind and spirit, likened after the now-extinct beasts of Razielian lore that were said to be angels sent to Earth by the Divine Lord. As silent as her human counterpart and the most enigmatic of Jayli’s forms, she appears at the direst of times, often to the aid of desperate comrades.

She is the Black Angel, and in full Aldyran plate armour she is a sight to behold. Winged, a creature of sinew and talons and feathers near impenetrable by steel, she wields overwhelming physical power and devastating magical abilities on the ground or from the sky. Raydl’s supreme control over both the Ether and her own existence represents the pinnacle of Jayli's victory over her own internal struggles with the Question of Humanity.
