Biography Summary: Poppy was found as a baby in a thorn bush grove by a band of land scouts from Castle Alelea. They took her in and Named her Poppy Thistletaile. Poppy after their mentor that had just recently passed on, and Thisletaile because of the many thistles that were tangled in her tail when she was found. She grew up strong within the walls of Alelea. She spent most of her time helping out in the kitchen, running about the barracks, and following around the wandering performers that happened to overnight at Alelea. She joined the Rosewood Entertainers (Alelea's thespian group) at an arly age. There she learned the art of singging, acting, and dueling.

Once she was old enough, she started up a patrol for the pourpose of having a band of runners at Castle Alelea's disposal. It was called the Fleetpaw patrol and it soon became the most grand patrol of Castle Alelea. In this patrol, Poppy met many long lasting comrades, including Sunglaze and Oren.

Oren went on later in life to run the Rosewood Entertainers after the old leader attempted to disband the patrol. Poppy stayed with Rosewood long enough to help Oren make it one of the better patrols.

Poppy's other friend, Sunglaze, left the patrol at one point in time to help his other friend Robin Treeblossm build Fort Dappleglade. After a seige and raid on Castle Alelea by jackals brought it to ruin, Poppy traveled to Dappelglade where she became the highest ranking officer.

But even Dappleglade eventually fell to the jackals, and Poppy was forced to flee northward, where she now lives as a wandering performer, playing for her dinner.

Personality: Poppy is my 'good' charactor. She is one who doesn't harm others unles they start it. She's a very relaxed squirrel of very few words, who spends most of her time traveling the lands. The strong-silent type.

Poppy has a talent for music and acting, though her greatest is playing instruments (her favorite's the pennyflute). She is very athletic and is very strong, although at first glance she seems just an adverage squirrel. She has a love of cooking, but never has the time or money to delve into it more. She uses her brain when thinking, and rarely lets anyone get close to her. She's a true down-to-bussiness gal.

When with good company though, a bit of her shell gives way and she is fairly socialable, and enjoys a good laugh.

As far a Love is concerned, she hesitates to let any feelings she has for a fur out because she was abandoned as a babe and has held a grudge against her parents that grew to be a wall keeping all out. Ask her anything, she will tell you... but ask her about herself and she clams up.

She is a beautiful squirrel with a good head on her shoulders. She only needs to open her heart more and no be so afraid of being hurt again.
