DESCRIPTION: Az, as most people call her, has a strong constitution and her eyebrows fall in a way that makes her look angry when she´s not smiling. Her fur is a tan-brown colour, has dark blond hair not long enough to get to her shoulders and always worn in a ponytail. Her tail is the same colour as her hair. She has yellowish-blue eyes.

PERSONALITY: She´s really got a strong personality. Although she doesn´t trust everyone easily, she´s open and always the glass-half-full kind of person. She really cares for people, and specially her friends (that are very few). She doesn´t like to be second in anything and will always fight to get what she wants. She´s also a kat really concerned about the environment, as she´s a very dedicated biologist. She loves classical music and Bryan Adams´ music. When she´s not in her uniform (consisting in a neoprene suit when diving), she likes wearing torn blue jeans or safaries always in a very informal way. Between her favourite sports there´s archery, beach-voleyball and windsurfing. She also loves to play the guitar.

OCUPATION/ABILITIES: Az is a marine biologist, who knows almost there is to know about the sea and it´s “people”. She loves the sea above anything. She´s a proffesional diver for the GEASHK (Grupo Especial de Actividades Subacuáticas de Hispaniakat). Her knowledge concentrates maily in Marine Biology and her study / experimentation with gills and it´s probable future uses to kat-kind. Her goal: to be able to breath naturally under the water without any specific equipment. She´s also a trained mechanic and divemaster.

HISTORY: Az is a 23 year old street she-kat who was born in Hispaniakat. Daughter of Antonio Sandoval, a mechanic, and Marina García, an artist. Her father had his own garage in the lower floor of their house and was known in their town as Mac for McGyver, as he was always able to fix anything it was brought in, it didn´t matter the condition it was in. She has also a younger sister, Kiara. On 20th June, when Azahara was seven and Kiara only five, her mother was driving the car back from school when they had an accident, being Az the only survivor. After that, she lived with his dad, learning everything about mechanics to be able to help him with the garage. After the accident she started behaving like a tom-girl and buried herself in her studies. When she was 15 she started her diving training. She graduated from high school with an A+ and started Biology at the University of Hispaniakat. Two years later she got her title as a divemaster and two years after that finished her studies in Marine Biology. In her town everybody knows her as “Niña de Mac” (Mac´s Girl), not only for being her daughter, but too for having inherited from his father the ability of fixing the impossible. In the summer between the end of high school and university, she met Jake Clawson, a kitten who came to Hispaniakat to learn Spanish and the both fell in love with each other. Although he went back home, they kept writting each other, but after a terrorist bomb destroyed her house and garage they lost contact.

When she was 18 she started working for the GEASHK as a divemaster. After the team was disolved, she went to Megakat to find a job. She got in in the Enforcers but quit after a very big row with Feral after she saved and allowed the Swat Kat called T-Bone to escape when he crashed with the Turbokat when he was been sought by the Enforcers after he suppostly beat a tom almost to the point of killing him (The QTQD series). She then found a job at Chance and Jake´s Garage as a mechanic where she found her long lost love. During her stay with them, she became her alter-ego “Samira, the Archer”, when T-Bone, needed a partner when Razor was badly injured, even though T-bone/Chance isn´t too fond of her. She was then asked to return secretly to Hispaniakat as chief of one of the new and reorganized teams of the GEASHK, division secretly reopened by Hispaniakat´s government to combat the main terrorist bands until today.
