Emalkatrien by @katycoop (Katy Coope)

It's Emal-chan! This is how he looks in the prolouge thing for seraphin I've been writing. (If you don't know the difference, his clothers are different, his braid is tied of higher up, and he is taller and a bit more grown up looking.) This was done in my spare time at school today, in pencil (Duh.) I think this came out pretty well, he looks nice and cute and I like the lines of his coat.

Waiiiiiiiiiiiiii! Emal-chan!

This is a sugoi-yo drawing, Katy, I love it. Emal's expression is perfect-- I really like it when you draw your characters with narrowed eyes (like the Michael pic with the string). Great shading on the coat, I can almost see it moving, and those sprialing threads(?) are a nice touch. ^_^

His expression is excellent. ^_^ He looks sad... I love the folds and shading of the coat.

I love it! I just started reading your story and i'm now on the first chapter (not the prologue). I bought your book : "how to draw manga" at a book fair at school and ever since i've been looking for ways to make my art better! I can't believe how the coat ripples! And i love the expression. I don't know why, but i've got this thing for seeing sorrowful pictures! Luv your work!
