What is the symbol of hate?
What is the symbol of hate? by @chaseawaythedark

That moment when Side7 is more accepting of Imgur's own memes than the people of Imgur are. I therefore am relocating my memes here.

@Thorvald: For context, how Imgur works is it has an on-site meme generator that allows people to make memes from a range of pre-selected images. This meme generator is made so people can make posts quick and easy. However, Imgur has a tough crowd/demographic, one so tough the audience will heckle 99.9% of the memes people post. Which isn't that abnormal, until you remember Imgur has designed their website so that anything with more than five downvotes disappears from the website, like they see the downvoting as a cue to prosecute a post. Name anything in the world you can post, and if it's not 100% relatable and insightful to each and every member, your post will be gone. I only have five posts on there out of hundreds that have survived.

The other day, I got upset because the people from DeviantArt I mentioned being in a drama with caused one of my posts to not only be eliminated but also be reported for violating terms of service, since it was a divorce joke and the guy in the meme happened to be AA. So I thought "you know what, I'm going to move my saved Imgur memes to ArtStation and Side 7 and invoke the idea that they are the true home of the memes as the memes get the welcome committee". Imgur has since gotten angry because they consider the meme generator their property, despite never welcoming any of the memes, but they should've thought about that before setting up a self-property-critical environment.
