grr...i keep getting flamed and grumped at, people keep saying my zarathus and retina look like someone's furry dragons. i cant belive people think that dragons with fur all belong to one person. aparently. aparently the idea of furry dragons is copyrighted to someone...and i should give credit for using the idea.

so many people draw dragons with fur, and ive been drawing dragons with fur since i was like 6 or 7.
and can you people at least tell me WHO has taken the idea of furry dragons. maybe my dragons might look like someone elses dragons, but i havnt copied. as much as i know this person could have copied me...maybe o.O

Who owns the rights to any sort of dragon? That's silly...What about Nall from the Lunar games? He's been around since the early '90s, and he's furry. Or even older than that, Falkor from Never Ending Story? He's a furry dragon that's been around for a while. If they are to be copyrighted to anyone, they'd be copyrighted to the big people who make those movies and viodegames, so whomever told you you were stealing ideas needs to chill out!

I've gotten something like that once. Someone told me my character Aaron was a spin off of Dane's Manic. It's like "how the hell?" They look alot different. I've also surfed through this site looking at ALOT of dragon pictures, and I haven't really seen any characters that looked like yours.
Just keep drawing, you kick arse.

what the hell? Furry dragons come from eurpoe in the medieval times, they were around that long ago, and if you want some proof, stupid flamers, I got some really oooold books with pictures in them from my library. ::grumbles:: zara your pic is also done, BTW, hee!

mmm, I know how yew feel. I got some flames once all by the same person (who shall rename nameless) that some of my human characters looked too much like a paticular anime character. (In that case yes there copyrighted but...no one else could even see the slighist resemblence including me) I also agree with Lab Rat. I've told like 3 ppl that there character looks like (Insert Name) before but nicely and never to intend conflict with them. So many ppl take the copyright issue to far and abuse it. mmm anyways nuff of my ramblings heh ^^
Hey we all got creations that are unique! And I don´t think you have stolen from anyone or something! I think your dragons are both cute and unique! A dragon with fur ain´t a every-day sight!
