Azriel Selkirk, Flamehawk's arch-nemesis. He's a kind of science-terrorist, trying to overthrow the government to reopen his beloved Institute of Science, which was closed by a powerful religious leader. But Azriel isn't really evil, just bitter. The loss of the Institute deprived him of his passion, and his future. However, at the moment that's not Flamehawk/Cassia's concern; she hates Azriel because most of his attacks have been directed at her family.
