When a military faction seizes the base Zyrix (the elf) is on he doesn’t take it too kindly. After several accounts of sabotage and a trek through the mountains, Zyrix ends up in said factions head quarters where he re-encounters Aaron.

The location they’re in was a typical major city until it was destroyed and turned into a barren wasteland. Once the weakening condition of the ozone was finally realized, the area was cleared and rebuilt to sustain life without an outside atmosphere for the coming years. Akheron, practically its own nation, is now the largest urban area in the world and home to the most influential multinational conglomerates.
