Cheraph!
Cheraph! by @kimkond (Kim Kondratieff)

...Which would be, to be interpreted, a cross between an In Nomine Seraph and Cherub. Cheraphim are actually Cherubim--but they've got an equal number of Forces from a Seraph parent, and it shows in their celestial forms (OBVIOUSLY not those of any terrestrial animal, and oftentimes quite draconic--though draconic with a mammalian emphasis) and their resonance at higher levels.

Things like teh Kittysnake, on the other hand, are actually Serabim, Seraphim with a bit of a Cherubic flavor.

The canon light is, indeed, off--and yes, this was inspired by EDG's 'Lilakim' on the IN mailing list. ;;;)

And it's Mercury's celestial form, for those interested who actually thought he was a pure Seraph. You think something THAT stubborn and THAT protective and also capable of lying (though I have to wonder if part of his misery is dependent on taking some dissonance...) was straight Seraph? Surely, you jest!

...'Course, I kinda thought he'd fledged Seraph until I thought about it, and the Lilakim thing came up, and I decided I wanted a Cheraph just to be perverse...and there was the whole thing about how all Stardroid souls have at /least/ seven Forces and probably more, so we wondered where those Forces CAME from...

...that's probably waaay too much on one picture, come to think. Oh well. My gallery, my spam.

...ain't he pretty, though? Artwork © Copyright 2002 Kim Kondratieff
