I didn't comment yet? Whoops! I really like this one. The way you've made it slightly red tinted with the extreme contrast gives it an unearthly feel, like something out of a memory. You half expect the character to turn around and speak to you, but will you remember what she's said? It seems timeless, like the petals will remain frozen but falling forever. I really like this!

Thanks! I really like that idea you got from this picture. Really, when I drew this, all I had was an image. No feeling, no story, just the picture itself in my head, so it's really neat to hear such an interpretation of it. Oh, and the original isn't really much red-tinted, it's very much brown, just the scanner didn't pick it up quite right.
