so i sat down one night at 12: 00 am, ballpoint pen in hand, and drew the first thing that looked cool. 4 hours later i came to a few conclusions:

1. i'm horribly out of practice at drawing with ballpoint pens, a media that i used to use all the time.

2. i'm horribly out of practice at drawing things that i'm looking at. EVERYTHING that i've ever drawn (outside of art class, which was a few years ago) was straight outa my head.

and realization #3. i was really really tired.
