Endearing characters in a great concept pic...it's eeire-it's orwellian-it's not far from reality...the future looks bleak, but these handsome characters make it look a tiny bit attractive still.

This is a really amazing picture--it makes a strong social commentary, without being overwhelming. I am truly impressed! The way you have music being shown in a way akin to a drug deal is really quite amazing--sometimes I feel that way, too, like the MP3 nazis would like all audio to be illegal. I'm honestly amazed at the subject matter in this image. It's extremely well rendered! It gets your feelings across very well!

As for the image itself, I am really impressed with your character designs. They are so unique and original. I love the huge ears and snouts--the expressions are amazing. They seem cold, hardened, even to the wonder of the music one is offering to the other. The details in the fashion are well drawn out--I LOVE the boots! The rivets and buckles in them are amazing. The contrast in the character's skin types and hair also work so well together.

It also impresses me that most of this image is gray and white and black. It makes the yellow stick out that much more. The red of the box really seems like velvet, just like the boots seem leathery. I am very impressed at your ability to convey textures.

And the background really adds to the picture, but doesn't distract from it. I am so impressed with this image it is unreal. No critique for you--there is no way an artist of my meager talent could even begin to offer any kind of advice on this piece.

Wow, great image. The shading/folds on their clothes is amazing, as well as all the other shading actually. The species is cool, yay for big ears :D The background is okay, but it could use some more detail... but then again, it would distract from what's going on in the foreground. The social commentary is something I agree with, though I don't think it'll ever come to this. (Although they'd have to ban all music to make mp3'ing illegal...) Great picture!

it's already been proven that downloading and burning causes them no money loss; they're doing it just to give us a hard time at obtaining some good music. stupid people.
