An adaptation of “Deadpool 2” set on Earth-10005.

After fighting organized crime as Deadpool for two years, Luan Loud fails to kill one of her targets on her anniversary with her girlfriend, Maggie. That night, after the pair decides to start a family together, the target tracks Luan down and inadvertently kills Maggie; Luan then kills him in revenge. Six weeks later, Luan is still wallowing in self-hatred. She visits Madame Foster, where she warns him not to do anything stupid. She rejects this advice and attempts suicide by blowing herself up. Luan has a vision of Maggie in the afterlife but remains alive due to her healing abilities. Vinni Pukh brings Luan to the X-Mansion to recruit her. Luan is left with only a Skee-Ball token, an anniversary gift, as a final memento of Maggie. Recovering at the X-Mansion, Luan reluctantly agrees to join the X-Men because she believes Maggie would have wanted her to. She, Vinni, and Marie Kanker respond to a standoff between authorities and the unstable young mutant Russel Collins at an orphanage owned by the Essex Corporation, labeled a "Mutant Re-education Center".

Realizing that Russell has been abused by the orphanage staff, Luan kills one of the staff members before being restrained by Vinni, and both Luan and Russell are arrested. Fitted with power-suppressing collars, they are taken to the Ice Box, an isolated prison for mutant criminals. Meanwhile, Rage (Cable), a cybernetic soldier from the future, travels back in time to kill Russell. Rage storms the Ice Box and attacks Russell. Luan, whose collar breaks in the ensuing melee, attempts to protect Russell. After Rage takes Maggie’s token, Luan forces herself and Rage out of the prison, but not before Russell overhears Luan denying that she cares for him. Near death again, Luan has another vision of Maggie in which she convinces him to help Russell. She organizes a team called the X-Force to free Russell from a prison-transfer convoy and protect him from Rage. The team launches its assault on the convoy by parachute, but all members die during the landing except for Luan and Marceline (Domino), whose main superpower is claimed to be pure luck.

While a fight with Rage distracts them, Russell frees fellow inmate Bismuth (Juggernaut), who agrees to help him kill the abusive orphanage headmaster. Bismuth destroys the convoy, rips Luan in half, and escapes alongside Russell. While Luan recovers, Rage offers to work with her and Marceline to stop Russell from killing the headmaster, as Russell will then become a serial killer who slaughters Rage’s family. Luan accepts on the condition that Rage gives her a chance to talk Russell down. At the orphanage, they are overpowered by Bismuth while Russell pursues the headmaster. Vinni, having initially refused to help due to Luan's murderous ways, arrives to distract Bismuth. Luan fails to placate Russell, forcing Rage to shoot at Russell. Luan leaps in front of the bullet while wearing the Ice Box collar and dies, reuniting with Maggie in the afterlife. Her sacrifice dissuades Russell from killing the headmaster, and consequently saves Rage’s family. Rage uses the last charge reserved for his return to warp back several minutes, strapping Maggie’s token in front of Luan’s heart so she survives the bullet. Rage then decides to stay in the present for a while to help improve the world, knowing that his family will be safe in the future. Afterward, the headmaster is run over and killed by Luan’s taxi driver friend Dopinder.
