Freak's Formal Wear
Freak's Formal Wear by @lunavee (Luna Vee)

This is Marai "Freak" Adelpha, one of my favourite subjects to draw. She's the main character of another comic I'm in the works with, called "On The Shoulders Of Freak." I like her, she's cool. See, she's a schizophrenic, whose subconcious somehow got polluted with the scum of sub-space, forming into its own dimension, where little demonic baddies dwell and try to make her do awful things (depravity, homicide, stuff like that). She does have a saving grace in the form of a Mexican guy from the 1800s who through lots of circumstances, gets trapped with the others in her mind. His name is Johnny Valtierra, and he is cool.

Anyway, this little piece is a simple pic of Freak in formal wear. Yes, that's right, this is Freak's idea of formal wear. She didn't earn her nickname for nothing...

That knife is Johnny's real-world anchor, so to speak. It's confusing. Fwah.

Anyway, yeah, I love drawing Freak. Not only is she cool looking, but I love digging out neefty clothing designs for her outfits. Can you tell I like layers, shredding, and fishnet? Muahaha. Artwork © Copyright 2002 Luna Vee
