Axe-Wielding Catgirl Barbarian
Axe-Wielding Catgirl Barbarian by @digoraccoon (Diosden Rodriguez)

Originally I wanted to have a blood splatter on the right edge to simulate the messy smashing effect of a big axe being swung, but my version of Photoshop is pretty old (ver. 5, sans CS) and doesn't like accepting texture brushes and things from newer versions.

But that's alright, life is about compromise and finding workarounds because no original idea survives completion. Well, maybe. Either way, I went with this firey speed look instead, but hey, I managed some hand drawn blood so it's okay. Well, messily okay...? :) Don't be on the receiving end of that axe.

Colors are a little off because it got converted from a CMYK print to this RGB jpeg. Go go Gadget color conversion!

The subject doesn't appear very muscular and the reason for that is because she's based upon a wall-flower character that isn't athletic (a bookworm marshmellow is the best description someone gave). Anyway, a friend of mine dared me to turn her into a barbarian just for the heck of it and so... here we are. :)
