Reena is a fourteen year old BeyBlader, one of the few. She is in possession of the rare wolf BitBeast, Vironise, and is the top female BeyBlader in the world.

She starts off on a teen, going by the name of the Hybrids, with her three friends, Sakura, Fen and Charlie. After she 'foolishly' makes a bet with the BladeBreakers, and with Kai, that she'll win against the team captain, and if she doesn't she'll join the BladeBreakers, she loses, and does as promised in the bet.

She's at first extremely relcuant to be a BladeBrekaer, and excludes herself from everything, until Ray coaxes her down from her room, to join them training. They fully witness her and Vironise's team work, in a 'friendly' match against Reena's well known rival, Vivica Jalria. After Vivica's defeat, the BladeBreakers make sure to not exclude Reena, even Kai's impressed.

As Reena's time with the BladeBreakers increases, her friendships with each of them grows. To her, Ray is like a big brother, Tyson and Max are good friends, Kenny and Dizzi are just pains in the asses and Kai... well... Kai's just there. Of course, Reena and Kai both know they'd both much prefer to be more than just friends...
