She has lived there ever since, and made friends with a young Lakota by the name of Horsewalker. He named her Wind because of her swift speed, and he hopes to set her back with a good mustang herd since she still is too wild to be kept as a brood mare. Wind is a vibrant and gentle mare who often plays and makes the other stallions of the Lakota village think twice about staying her.
