Kouryuu is a 15-year-old dragon warrior who's lived his whole life fighting in a war for the freedom of his friends and family. He's part of the Karugo Rebels, an underground rebel faction against Lloyd Yokoshima, king of their homeland of Hokubu.

Kouryuu is the main character of Yuushi Kouryuu, a story about life and love during times of hate and war.
