It seems like I've had a similar conversation with my gaming group. No ragequitting, but I think someone locked theirself in the bathroom for a bit.

@fragmented_imagination: Looking back on the 2010s, these read rather bittersweet. The drama back then was loud and bright but burnt itself out just as quickly and rarely led to lasting damage. By 2020, the inner circle had ossified around a chat clique of RL political militancy (tankie, not fash) and the games themselves became an afterthought. I officially cut ties in May '21 amid what I continue to believe was a concerted libel campaign. :(

Ancient IOTs: Have Large Wars, GM ragequits
Lower Middle IOTs: Have large wars, everyone ragequits
New IOTs: The Tankie Nomenklatura & The Dark Ages
Upper Middle IOTs: Have large wars, everyone nukes the crap out of each other

@GenMarshall: No no no, you gotta keep the pattern:

Newest IOTs: No war, everyone's too busy proving orthodoxy to run a game.

A shame, too: Caesar of Bread looked like a fun'yun.

Considering she's with the IOT crowd, I'm concerned she'd be sweeped up with the IOTankie clique. :|

PS. Now I gotta learn how to post little images of emotes on here.

@GenMarshall: Markdown has two formats; the advantage with HTML is you can specify width for large sources.
