Should I make desktop wallpapers again? 🖥️

After looking at some different wallpapers from fruiter Aero, to grunge and then gothic, I also want to imitate 2000’s type aesthetics tbh, since I always loved the windows 7 wallpapers tbh. (Alongside looking at old websites from the web design museum, it’s pretty interesting to look at tbh.)

Blimey, the last time I changed my wallpaper was two desktops ago: National Geographic did an article on snow leopards in 2008, and hosted the story's photos as downloadables. I still have the original file, but it was 1024p so didn't fit the later monitors, and by then NGM had withdrawn the page.
I'm not entirely sure why I stopped, though my desktop typically ends up cluttered with icons so a background image quickly becomes illegible. :P
Are we talking some back in the day MySpace emo style aesthetic?
Like black, and gray with that black or translucent blue drip border stuff?
The red variation obviously was most prolific, but I don't think anyone misses that.
Or are you talking some Chelsea Wolf type of aesthetic?
