The Hunter
The Hunter by @Tedikuma (Teddy Taylor)

In black and white this was one of the coolest I had ever drawn. I drooled over it, man... When I was coloring, I thought "Wow, this looks cool.." Instead of using black and white with an opacity change I used different shades of each color and smudged it all on one layer. I think it helped.. Anyway, when I was finished I looked at it.. Something was missing.. I still don't know what, maybe I don't like the background or something... Ahhhh well. Still looks cool. o_O Inpuku © Teddy Taylor

maybe it's because the leg on the right means to come forward but it still looks like it's still on the same plane as the other. maybe you could darken the leg on the left a bit so it looks like it's farther back in space.

other'n that, this piece really caught my eye in the recent uploads page. nice shapes, man!

Thanks for the comment. ^^ Yeah, the leg does bother me. I think that's what's missing too.. I need to work on perspective... I seem to have trouble with that. ~~

Oo, nice piccy. I think I know what might be missing (actually, my boyfriend pointed this out): There isn't any gleam on the katana. It needs some shine. ;)

Heh heh, your bf is kinda right. After I finished coloring this, I thought... "I forgot to make the sword shiny!" I wanted to use the lens flare on it... But ah well! Thanks for the comment. ^_^
