with the wind
with the wind by @magenta (Laurel)

Slightly old, but I like it. I wish the scanner hadn't done as such a rotten job getting it in here, but ah well. Anyway, it's a unicorn, being pushed with the wind. I had lots of fun doing the mane, with all of the unrealistic twists and turns. But now I don't draw that kind of extreme roman noses, as it's not realistic. But hey, I did think I did a decent job shading, despite the smears with the scanner, and is why I posted it. Wallaah! :)

Nicely done. Yeah, maybe real horses don't have such Roman noses, but I think it's a cool characteristic, it makes it look distinct from Generic Horse A or B...keep it around to play with.

Draw like me? why thanks, but I am really not that great. These guys are only things that somewhat come out when I sketch. :P If you'd like any tips on funky manes, I'd be glad to give them. I love making them twist and turn.

Oh, yes please! I'd love tips! At the moment, I draw manes and tails like they're drawn in the Spirit movie; how do you make them realistic?
