Red Tree Squirl and a Chimpmonk
Red Tree Squirl and a Chimpmonk by @mydnyte (Myd Nyte)

These are two images, I did in 2002, the squirl I did first, I dunno why, I had that piece of wood I bought, was going to woodburn on it.. but disicided to paint it instead. Liked it so much I did another such creature a little bit later of a chipmonk....I like the chimponk one better. My lil cousin named him chubby Wood Chipmonk because his cheeks are all full. And Yes, I painted the holes in the wood as well... lol I had a friend asked me how I painted inside the holes..and its like.. "um.. I painted the holes too?" hehe...

thanks, I wish to dive into several types of art, not just one medium... and with the wood painting/burning/sketching area its mega fun.

I looked at your site! Wow, good stuff! I can crochette (not sure if thats spelled right.. bad hillbilly spelling.. heh) but I nothin compared to the wonderful blankets and such you made, the faces are really good too! Looks like you put alot of effort into each piece... love them.
