Chance Encounter
Chance Encounter by @beastofoblivion (Allison Theus)
The youngling melted out of the darkness silently; he'd been dimension surfing and had randomly picked a place to stop as he flowed in and out of innumerable worlds. The smell of grass assulted his nostrils and a heat that was quickly fading caressed his skin suddenly as he emerged into this new place. For a brief moment he was reminded of home and he stilled, closing his eyes. A footstep sounded above him then, so soft that it could have been masked by the rustle of the grass were his hearing not so sharp. Instinctively he turned, arrow-shaped face angled upwards towards the new presence, his movement so quick that the other was clearly startled. It had not expected the shadows to be alive. For several moments, the two creatures simply stared at each other.

Random entry for DarkRose2401's contest, where you have to do a pic that revolves around her character Elishia. Pretty kitty.

ahem I have not drawn anything in forever. There are things that I love about this pic, and there are things that I don't like. Like that damn sun. Anyways, it's kinda loose - wasn't going for a full out masterpiece, and I probably should be doing more important things (peers at the stack of certificates/commissions/trades/prizes that need to be done) buuuuut yea. >_>;

Wow. This is amazing. I love how you drew the muscles and tail, and the bg is awesome. I look forward to seeing more of your art.
