It's very nice - good clean lines. Ithink the background is an ok colour, but if you want it a bit more realistic add more depth to the background with some more shadow.
Excellent work! -Morg

Finally! I've finished eet!! This painting has taken me just.. forever and is finally done, so I can give to the poor lady who comissioned it off me! She's been waiting sooo long! Luckily it was an RL comission so I don't have any stressed individual e-mailing me about how late it is! Anyway, here is the lovely horsey, Toots:) I'm not overly pleased with the pic but it worked out okay, I truely hate the background though, didn't work at all. But then I don't 'do' backgrounds. She looks like she's in the middle of some modern art clean cut painting and really shouldn't be there, bleh, oh well... this description is reeeaaallly too long...

You have really concentrated on the horse and he is beautifully done like the other commentor said this is just like a photo it is that good. Your stable door could of done with a little deffinition, not too much though, you certainly would not want to detract too much from Toots.
This is REALLY well done. I thought it was a photo at first, from the thumbnail.
I tend to agree with you ... The background does look a bit odd. Maybe if you used the colors you'd find in a stable, instead? 'Cos it does kinda look like the horse is sticking its head out of a stall, with a door around it..
