Markal of Peyrrin
Markal of Peyrrin by @Dalamar (Blue Deyeu)

La! This is Markal of clan Peyrrin, from an RPG I was in, before it...slowed to a crawl.

Anyway, Markal is of a species of mine called the Dalzorians, from the planet Dalzor. It's a race of dragonlike ceatures, and Markal is one of what are called Plains Dalzorians, meaning she comes from the sweeping grasslands of the planet. She's supposed to be the peaceful ambassador for a hostile group far from home, but at present she's waiting to meet up with a band of rebels in a lovely swamp.

The butterfly's not really that big, nor is she that small. Head to base of tail, Markal is about 11 feet long. I just wanted to play with blues and purples. ^^ Done with Prismacolor pencils, and the black shtuff is my quick and lame background from Paint. Markal and her species, the Dalzorians, are copyright to ME. Well, not really copyrighted, but they're mine. So there.

Oh wow she's so pretty! :D I ADORE the buttefly... she looks so cute and curious.

And apologies for the RPG kinda dying.. when I went away I kinda didn't have time to check it anymore o_o I'm back now, but I don't know for how long, going to Nebraska next..

Why, thank you very much. ^^ The background is just an uber cheap Paint background...and I used Prismacolor colored pencils for both Markal and the butterfly. I just pressed really hard on the butterfly, and blended it once it was all colored. In retrospect, I suppose I could have made it a little clearer.

All of this picture is so perfect and amazing. If I had to pick the best part I would say the wings. At first I thought they were a picture.
